Smokable Blends

mixing cannabis with other herbs for a medicinally enhanced effect and stretching your stash

Have you ever stopped to ponder if in the miracle of creation that other herbs besides cannabis were created that can be smoked and impart to it’s partaker joyful healing effects?

My daughter’s college roommates told me about this exciting idea. One of her roommates told me that smoking blue lotus with a little cannabis was like being hugged by the moon. I want to be hugged by the moon, I’m putting this on my herb wish list, along with so many others.

After being presented with this intriguing idea, this idea that is absolutely ancient- tribes and expanding civilizations have been burning incense, placing aromatic herbs on wood fires, passing the peace pipe, etc…. for all of time; we’re just starting to bring back the lost customs that provided huge benefits for it’s practitioners.

Before embarking on this new exciting project, please do a little research. Not all herbs are smokable. And please don’t try this if you have a lung condition and check with your doctor if you are on any medication that might react with your herb choices.

Another keen aspect to this project is that it stretches your stash. To grow a pound of cannabis is a lot of work and expense, and to purchase, it’s around 1K/ lb. But consider that organic herbs can be had for between 25-50$/lb. So this blending of the finest nature has to offer is a real money saver, and you get the benefits of these supporting herbs.

Merry Jane Gardening Club has come up with three successful herbal smoking blends. We find that these blends are super easy to load into a rose cone. That way you can take one hit, two hits, etc as needed, and the rose cone is gentle on your lungs, and it smells like your grandma.

All herbs are ground to a loose, fluffy consistency, please be sure to mix all herbs thoroughly before loading your cone.

LUNGS-
  • 2 T AC/DC strain
  • 1 T Lavender
  • 2 t Mullein
  • 1 T Hops
  • 1 T Rose petals

I have allergies and I could feel my chest become freer and less restrictive.

A N X I E T Y-
  • 2 T CBD Sour Space Candy strain
  • 1T Lavender
  • 1 t Catnip
  • 1 T Hops
  • 1 T Rose petals

A few of us sat around a table and tried this and we were all sooo peaceful and content. We all became aware that we weren’t speaking, just being present. And what a beautiful present moment it was too!

SLEEP-
  • 2 T Do si Dos strain
  • 1 t Mugwort
  • 1 t Skullcap
  • 1 T Passionflower
  • 1 T Lavender
  • 1 T Rose petals
  • 1 T Lemon Balm

This sleep blend works very fast, make sure you are in your jammies, in bed, with a dry book to read before you partake of this one. What we’ve noticed though is there is no hang-over, like when you drink teas made with some of the same sleep herbs.
